Cave Church, Garbage City & Islamic Museum of Art (Egypt Group Tour - Day 10)

First stop this morning was Garbage City and the Cave Church at Moquattam Hills.

Next stop was supposed to be Abdeen Palace but it was closed…what to do? Well, we are good at dealing with changes here in Egypt so we went to Bab Zuwayla where the Street of the Tent Makers is. Mickey got a cute little tent for her kitty kat and I’m going back tomorrow night to get one for my grandson – a bit bigger than Mickey got for her cat though!

Lunch was Egyptian sandwiches and then we were off to the Islamic Museum of Art – I love this place.

PRIVATE ACCESS TO EGYPT’S MONUMENTS – update 26 Nov 2023

Not everyone who visits my site will notice this little piece of information, so if you do notice it, you might decide to take it as a personal invitation. Email me if you would like to either join a group trip that will have private time at ALL the monuments in Egypt or if you would like me to arrange private visits for you, your family, or your own group. You will appreciate that there are only so many hours in a day or night. Therefore, even if your planned trip is six months or a year away, a trip incorporating private visits should be planned, scheduled, and booked ASAP. Private time slots are limited due to already spiraling demand.
