Back in 2019, I predicted that Egypt was becoming the new paradise for the rich. Well, in 2024, that reality has hit hard.
Add up the costs of international flights, decent (I won’t even go near the “luxury” category!) accommodation, tours, food, and the inevitable souvenir shopping for two adults and two kids over seven days – and the price tag becomes prohibitive for the average or even above-average family, even with two full-time professional incomes.
So, what’s the solution? Write Egypt off the bucket list? You could. OR you can send me your email address because right now, I’m in the middle of working out cost-effective solutions for you. This is NOT some sales gimmick—well, okay, it is to increase my sales, but it’s definitely NOT a gimmick.
Because once again, I’m thinking outside the box.
Since moving from Ireland to Egypt in 2003, I’ve had to think creatively to survive in business in a foreign land – especially one where the business world is largely male-dominated. I’ve weathered the storms of revolution, political mayhem, media scaremongering, several currency devaluations, and the Covid shutdown – all by staying just a step ahead of the herd.
The truth is, Egypt is becoming a playground only the rich can afford, thanks to IMF economic policies. When a country’s second-largest income source, tourism, is gutted, it’s only a matter of time before that country has to take out loans to pay off foreign debts. Egypt is just the latest casualty of global financial policies.
But, as I’ve always said, there’s a solution to every problem. If the rising costs of bringing your family or friends to Egypt are putting that magical holiday just out of reach—let me help. No, scratch that—let’s help each other.
Email me, and I’ll share with you the cost-saving solutions I’m working on. I want to see your family in Egypt as much as you do. As a mother and a grandmother, I’m determined to make it happen, because I want my own grandkids to experience this place, and I want that day to come soon.
This is not a trick to get your email address – I am so tired of seeing that gimmick everywhere – I don’t do newsletters or regular emails. You will get an email back from me personally to discuss the options I am working on. I’m not pushing any “special bargain” – if I were I would simply post them on the site. I am working on an “outside the box” collaborate approach to overcoming the increasing costs so, what do you have to lose?
My email is maraegypt@gmail.com and I’m the real deal. As we say in Ireland, “never look a gift horse in the mouth.” Miracles do happen—you just have to be smart enough to spot them when they come your way.
