Mara House in Luxor
- Day 1: Arrive in Luxor and transfer to Mara House.
- Day 2: Visit Abydos Temple. Consider a private 2 hour visit to the Osirion. Overnight at Mara House
- Day 3: Visit the temple of Hathor at Dendera. Overnight at Mara House
4 nights Nile Cruise Luxor to Aswan
- Day 4: Explore Luxor’s West Bank
- Valley of the Kings,
- Hatshepsut Temple (Deir El Bahri)
- Medinet Habu Temple – read my story about the attempted assassination of Ramses II and the horrific demise of his attackers.

Spend tonight and the following 3 nights on board a luxury Cruiser on the Nile as you travel upriver from Luxor to Aswan. 4 days’ breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and dinners are included in the package price
- Day 5: Morning visit to the temples of Karnak and Luxor
- Day 4: Visit the temple of Horus at Edfu and Temple at Kom Ombo
- Day 7: Morning visit to the temple of Isis on Philae Island. Optional visit to Nubian Village in the afternoon.
- Day 8: This morning you will travel to Abu Simbel and after visiting the temples there, fly to Cairo (if flights available)
Cairo and Alexandria
- Day 9: On the Giza Plateau you might consider an early morning Private Visit to the area around the Sphinx and afterwards visit Saqqara including the 7 step pyramid, Imhotep Museum, the Serapeum, Pyramid of Teti and the tombs that are open on the day.
- Day 10: GEM (Grand Egyptian Museum) in the morning and after lunch visit Manial Palace. Tonight consider booking 2 hours private time inside the Gt. Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Cheops or the Pyramid of Khafre.
- Day 11: Visit to Coptic Cairo and the astonishing man-made Cave Church in the Moquattam Hills. After lunch transfer by road to Alexandria
- Day 12: Relaxed and refreshed this morning explore the following famous sites in the legendary Mediterranean city of Alexandria – and afterward travel by train back to Cairo.
- Citadel of Qaitbey
- The Catacombs and Amphitheatre
- National Museum of Alexandria
- National Jewelery Museum
- Day 13: Civilization Museum which now houses the Royal Mummies Gallery and after lunch, explore Medieval Cairo
- Day 14: Visit to the Citadel of Saladin and then just a quick stop at the two oldest mosques in Islamic Cairo – those of Sultans Hassan and Rifaii. Finishing the day at the magical houses of Gayer Anderson and the Ibn Tulun Mosque
- Day 15: This 14 nights tour of Egypt ends after breakfast this morning. Check out of hotel and transfer to Cairo Airport for flights home.
