Think of the Hero’s Journey as the adult’s version of a treasure hunt. Just as the children will be following clues through the temples to find a treasure at the end of the trip, this is your opportunity for a different kind of treasure hunt, running in parallel. Everyone walks the same ancient roads, but with different eyes and different intentions.
Each day, this system will guide you on where to look and how to see, using the sacred sites of Egypt as a living text. The what—the meaning, the insight, the personal discovery—is yours alone to find. There is no sharing, no lectures; just a masterfully crafted structure that allows you to conduct your own symphony of self-discovery amidst the monuments.

The Hero’s Journey

Falling in love, building something from nothing, raising a family, facing loss, or daring to begin again — these are all chapters in your own hero’s journey. The difference is that we all take the hero’s journey over and over automatically without even realising it – this is a call to take a hero’s journey in Egypt in 2027 consciously. In August 2027, beneath the shadow of a total solar eclipse, the participants will set out together on a ten-day journey through Egypt — from the grandeur of Cairo to the timeless calm of the Nile aboard our Nile cruiser/dahabiya.
