2005 the first beds at Mara House. I had to make all the curtains and bed linen with material from the local shops – Western 60’s style print and plain fabrics was only to be had and the first furniture was mostly plastic. I wasn’t just furnishing an apartment – I was furnishing 9 – so everthing was basic.
